Cycle for Heart

One More Swing

When I signed up for Cycle for Heart, I wasn’t looking for another fitness challenge.

I was looking for a way to turn pain into purpose.

Over the years, heart disease has touched my family in more ways than one. Like so many Australians, we’ve experienced how quickly life can change and how precious every moment with the people you love really is.

Cycling has become something more than exercise for me. Every kilometre is a reminder that we get another chance to make a difference. It’s a chance to support research, education, and families who are facing some of the hardest days of their lives.

This ride is also the first step in a much bigger journey.

My goal is to complete larger endurance rides across Australia in the future, using cycling to raise awareness and funds for causes that matter. Everyone has a reason to keep moving. Mine is to honour those we’ve loved, support those still fighting, and hopefully give other families more time together.

Throughout August I’ll be riding as many kilometres as I can, sharing the journey along the way. Some rides will be easy, some won’t—but every pedal stroke has a purpose.

If you’re able to support my fundraiser, no matter the amount, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps the Heart Foundation continue its life-saving work in research, prevention, and support for Australians affected by heart disease.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Here’s to every kilometre, every donation, and every heartbeat.

I’m taking on Cycle for Heart

I’m jumping on the bike this month and setting myself a challenge to raise money for the Heart Foundation. If you can, I’d really appreciate your support. Every bit helps.
