Day 4: 118 km, 200 to go

Rode from Auchenflower to Nudgee Beach with Rafa. It's really pretty there. On the way back we explored this trail that takes you from Nudgee Rd to the M1. Nice addition to the ride save for a few crazy riders who seemed to think they were doing the Tour of France. Seriously, people, an off-road trail for running and cycling is NOT the place to do time trials! After splitting with Rafa on Bicentennial Bikeway I headed to Wellington Point via Wynnum Rd and New Cleveland Rd, one of my fave routes. Another nice ride save for the fact that I got attacked by a magpie near New Cleverand. Three times, I kid you not. Once on the way to Wellington, then on the way back, forcing me to exit Wynnum, and one last time as I reentered Wynnum. So, magpie season is already on, folks. Let's be careful out there :)

Day 3 (Aug 2): 122 km, 318 to go

Rode from Brisbane to Clontarf Beach near Redcliffe, then continued towards Dayboro. Discovered the Moreton Bay Rail Cycleway and Diamond Jubilee Way, which make for a pleasant ride. Reached the >60 km mark at Burpengay Rd, so I decided to turn back there.

Day 2: 103 km

Today I completed my second ride of the challenge! It was a repeat of last week's Auchenflower to Victoria Point via Wellington Point and Raby Beach. Rafa was able to do the ride this time after getting his bike  fixed. An amazingly sunny day, and not too windy 😎

Day 1: 107 km

I just completed my first ride of the challenge! Rode from Auchenflower to Victoria Point via Wellington Point and Raby Beach 😎 It was also the windiest day I've ever cycled in; I thought I would get knocked down a couple of times. Thanks to Rafa for joining; unfortunately he had to cut it short because of a mechanical problem.
