On the 13th of May 2022 I received a call at work that changed our whole family.
My sister made a call informing me that something was wrong at our parents house and I needed to get to mum and dads as quickly as I could, something was wrong with Dad.
I drove as fast as I could and I didn’t want anything to happen to Dad and I had a small amount of hope that everything was ok.
When I arrived it was clear that something was terribly wrong. I waited with my family as paramedics tried so hard to save him but unfortunately we were all given the news that Dad had passed away due to a massive heart attack.
Our family Hearts broke. My poor mum lost her beloved Husband, we lost our protective Dad, the grandchildren lost their precious Buddy , his nieces and nephews lost their uncle and his sister lost her only Sibling.
We could not believe this had happened. As we approach Dads two years anniversary we are all still heartbroken and will never be the same.
We wish we had Dad and he was back with his family. We are hosting a high tea for the heart foundation on the 19th of May to honour Dad.
We are also hoping to raise $800 to the heart foundation on this fundraiser page.
