End of Challenge Update - concluding remarks

Week 3 Challenge Update

Another week (and some change), another update.
Are you getting tired of these updates? Rest assured, the month is almost over for challengers and supporters alike.
Despite several reports received of increased levels of fatigue and ailments, the challengers continue to post some truly extraordinary skipping scores. Removing the focus from individual scores, we have smashed our team target, with over 199,000 skips logged. Simply put, that is a whole lot of skips!
Yesterday, I received a threat from Tim that he is coming for my place on the leader board (#5). He plans to complete a massive 7,000 skip session today. I planned to crawl to the finish line, but my already bruised skipping ego means I will once again be fighting for my heart health in the gym this weekend. A lonely plight: me, a skipping rope, and my only interaction with the voice prompts of an AI camera skipping counter app.
Raf has expressed concerns of vitriol from some of you today due to dropping her ranking on this week’s leader board. Vitriol coupled with donations should motivate her last leg of the challenge.
We're closing in on our team fundraising goal, having now raised almost $2,700—just shy of our target. If you've been thinking about supporting this fantastic cause, now is the perfect time. Every donation helps the Heart Foundation continue life-saving work.
Every contribution over $2 is tax deductible.
Heart disease remains Australia’s biggest killer, claiming 48 lives every day.
- Almost 13 million Australians have three or more heart disease risk factors
- Heart disease affects First Nations Australians at disproportionately high rates, specifically marked by earlier onset and significant mortality gaps compared to the wider Australian community.
- There are 57,000 heart attacks in Australia every year. 20 people die each day.
Thank you again to everyone who has donated and/or cheered us on throughout the challenge. Your support means a great deal.
We will provide an end of challenge update in early August.
Week Two Progress Update

Another week, another update!
Two weeks into the challenge and the team has already achieved over 132,000 skips! The top of the leaderboard speaks for itself. Phenomenal numbers are being posted by Adam, Jason, Raf, and Kennedy representing extreme athleticism and competitiveness! Personally, I am fighting for my heart health to remain in the top third of the leaderboard.
Thoughts, prayers, and donations please for the challengers that find themselves at the lower end of the leaderboard. ❤️
Thanks to the team for participating with me in this challenge for a great cause!
And thank you to everyone who has already supported the challenge with a donation. We have raised over $2300 so far. We appreciate your generosity and support for both our team and the Heart Foundation.
