Feed Them Meat

Coolamon Butchery must be mentioned as 2 of the 5 meat trays raffled ( $30.00 per tray ) were donated to the event and the array of meats supplied for the barbeque was of a high quality and delicious as usual.

Sensational Evening !


Event Wash Up......
Firstly a huge thank you to all who were involved with the preparation of the day ( you know who you are ) which was such a success .... they include the preparing of the green, raffles and evening meal.
A particular mention to the Ganmain Women Bowlers who graciously accepted to prepare the salads and potato bakes 
( yum ).

48 Bowlers enjoyed 2 games of eight ends with the winning team of 4 each receiving a gift voucher.

Also celebrating the 90th Birthday of Therese Harris whilst surrounded by 85 Adults and 8 Children and entertained with the love and friendship that is family.

Meat Raffles, Lucky Door Prize, Main Raffle & Premium Cookware all went to good homes.

Monies received and to be deposited tomorrow ( 01.05.23 ) include :

In addition to this tally is $465.00 which has been donated directly to the Heart Foundation and not via this link.

$3,278.00 will be deposited tomorrow which has surpassed our target on one evening !
Congratulations to all who attended, what a remarkable evening with many hearts benefiting from the funds and research.
A particular thank you must go out to all who travelled great distances, some from within rural Victoria and as far away as Queensland.

The fundraising is not complete with other monies still to be logged and uploaded to this site.

Let's Fight Heart Disease

We are hosting an event!

The Harris family are passionate about saving Australian Hearts and we need your help to create change. That’s why we are fundraising for the Heart Foundation – and we hope you’ll support us in this.

When : Saturday 29th April, 2023                              

Time : Arrive midday for a bowls game at 1pm.  

Where : Ganmain Bowling Club - Waterview Street, Ganmain

Cost : $10.00 per person / green fees.                    

All green fees donated back to the Heart Foundation   

Meal : $20.00 per person - Served from 6pm 

Please join the Harris Family ( supported by the Ganmain Bowling Club )  in raising money and awareness to support the ongoing research which could save the lives of our loved ones.

Heart disease remains Australia’s biggest killer, claiming 48 lives every day. Your donation will help the Heart Foundation to transform Australia’s heart health by:

  • funding life-changing heart research

  • supporting health professionals working to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease

  • providing heart-healthy programs and resources for everyday Australians.
