100km for Heart Disease <3
My dad always said he could never understand “why people were so quick to travel overseas when we have the most beautiful country at our doorstep.” That has always stuck with me. Over the past couple of months I’ve been travelling around Australia, exploring our amazing country and running in some of the most beautiful places along the way. This run is a way for me to honour him and carry those words with me.
My dad passed away from a heart attack, and in his memory I’ll be running 100kms to raise money for the Heart Foundation - a charity dedicated to fighting heart disease, which sadly affects so many families. They fund lifesaving research, support people living with heart conditions, and raise awareness to help prevent heart disease in the first place. Every donation goes towards making a real difference for people at risk of or recovering from heart attacks.
I know he would be so proud of this run and cause, with a beer in his hand cheering me on. Honestly, any donation would mean the absolute world and I’d be forever grateful for your support.
Let’s make this count for him, and for every life that can still be saved. ❤️
