For Mum
February is Mum’s birthday month, and in honour of her 63rd birthday on the 9th of February, Tasma and myself will be walking 63km throughout the month of February.
On the 13th of November 2025, Mum sadly passed away after a huge battle with Heart Disease.
Doing this walk is a way to honour her, keep her memory alive, celebrate her first birthday in heaven and raise funds to make a meaningful difference to Australia’s heart health.
Heart disease remains Australia’s biggest killer, claiming 48 lives every single day. By donating to the Heart Foundation, you’ll be helping to make a real difference by:
• Funding life-changing heart research
• Supporting health professionals who work to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease
• Providing heart-healthy programs and resources for everyday Australians.
