This year, Smithfield Sports and Social Club’s Ladies Day is being held in honour of our much-loved committee member and friend, Sam.
Sam was a huge part of our club community for many years and is deeply missed by everyone who knew her. After living with ongoing heart issues, treatment following a leukaemia diagnosis last year unfortunately became too much for her heart.
In Sam’s memory, we are raising funds for the Heart Foundation to support heart health awareness, research and support services. Sam’s partner and children remain an important part of our club community and will be joining us on the day as we celebrate her life, friendship and the impact she had on so many people.
Thank you for helping us honour Sam and support such an important cause.
