Day 7 - Final Day!

WOOOHOOOO!! We did it!! We swam 70kms!! We are sad that it is over, but we are also relieved that now we get to sleep in for the rest of the school holidays!! 
This swim was a challenge for us both as we were EXHAUSTED, yet we pushed eachother to the finish line and we finished as a team. 
We are so grateful for the support of all our sponsors and for CISAC, who lent us their pool for free!

WOW!! Thank you SO much to everybody who donated to this fabulous charity. Your donations are going to help so many people. We are SO thankful for your support. We couldn't have done this without your encouragement and help! 
This fundraiser means so much to both of us, so we are over the moon that it has been successful. 
We started this fundraiser roughly three weeks ago (we think), and we never imagined we would raise so many funds. When we woke up this morning, we had almost $1900. Now we are at $2200!! That's crazy!! Thank you so much!

Day 6!

Today was wonderful! 
We smashed out 10km in record timing. We weren't as exhausted as usual, which was good. 
We have finished 60kms now, so we only have ten more to go for tomorrow!
We are very thankful to all our sponsors and those who have been motivating us. We are also grateful to CISAC who has donated their pool to us for free!

Day 5!

Hi all!
Today was easier than the last couple of days, as we are starting to get used to the water. We completed 12kms today!! We've only got 20kms left!! When we are done we are going to miss the daily challenge. However, we can't wait for a sleep in!

Day 4!

Hi!!! 
Today we swam another 12km! Today was definitely the most challenging of all the days, as we were both exhausted (Raechel binged every Iron Man movie last night and got 6 hours of sleep, and Sophie... well she's always tired). 
Thank you again to CISAC for giving us free entry to the pool!!

Day 3!

Hi everybody!!
Today was terrific!! We smashed out 12km in 2.5 hours, which is pretty good considering how long we took on the first day. We are getting fitter! 
We noticed that the first and the last  kilometres are the hardest, so we really had to push eachother to keep up the good work. 
We would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Club Lime at CISAC, for donating us their pool free of charge in support of the Heart Foundation. We are so grateful!!

DAY 2!!

Hi all! 
Today was pretty good. There were some issues with pool vacancies so we were only able to swim 4km in total... rest assured though, we will be adding the kilometres we were not able to swim today to the other days! 
Hoping COVID-19 restrictions will not close pools 🤞

DAY 1

Today was great! Together, we swam 10km. We are both tired, but we aren't too sore and we can't wait to swim again tomorrow!
