Welcome to the Melbourne Charity Pickleball November 2023!
For each pickleball event, we invite a different participating company to nominate a charity that means something to their team. This time, we handed the choice to EESI, who selected the Heart Foundation Australia.
The cause is particularly close to the EESI team after one of their colleagues suffered a major heart attack earlier this year, requiring a quadruple heart bypass. While they are thankfully now on the road back to full health, the experience has highlighted just how important heart health, education and research can be.
The Heart Foundation works to improve heart health across Australia through education and support, while investing millions of dollars into vital cardiovascular research.
We’re proud to support a cause that has such a personal connection to the team.
