Adventure for Hearts Trek
As a paramedic I’m a strong advocate for saving Australian Hearts and I need your help to create change. That’s why I’m fundraising and creating awareness for the Heart Foundation – and I hope you’ll support me in this.
I will be trekking Cradle Mountain in Tasmania in November with a dear friend Katrina, who, lost her husband Scotty at 43yrs old to heart disease, taken way too soon. I am also one of the 580,000 people living daily with heart disease personally and together with her son Joey, we will embark on this adventure to bring awareness for heart health, heart checks and raise vital funds.
Heart disease remains Australia’s biggest killer, claiming 48 lives every day. Your donation will help the Heart Foundation to transform Australia’s heart health by:
funding life-changing heart research
supporting health professionals working to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease
providing heart-healthy programs and resources for everyday Australians.
